Clothing at Mass

Despite the heat of summer, let us remember that we are especially in the presence of God in the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the Church. Modesty in dressing should be observed by both men and women. This requirement is still obligatory on the part of all Catholics despite the epheremal changes in the fashion world. Just as we show respect to earthly monarchs by being dressed in a dignified fashion, how much more filial respect ought we to render unto God especially in his Holy Temple.

"Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much..." - Our Lady of Fatima to Blessed Jacinta.
